The OS for all of us
To my fellow friends/tech geeks, (this really only applies to those that still have school e-mail addresses) This goes out to those who are tired of XP or the obese Vista and want to upgrade to Windows 7. It's possible that the release of the long awaited Microsoft OS means less to you than a pile of beans but to those who care, I give you this advice. There are many sites that have discussed the benefits and argued the possible cons of the new system. It's hard to know if you would like without using it, generally those on the fence wait 6 months to a year and let them work out all the inevitable bugs before purchasing. I found a website that gives a great price to students who want to buy Windows 7. I suppose those that want to stay in the tenebrous confines of XP can stay, but I recommend 7, it's a huge change from the older OS from Microsoft. I currently have Vista and though I like it, Vista is a beast, the resources that it takes to run Windows smoothly could be used for something else, much like motorized carts could be used for the Handicap at Wal-Mart instead of the fat and lazy. Here is the website, study before you make any decision. This is Joe Short reminding you always use protection...from viruses and back up your data.
